At Last, Malaysian Developers Can Offer Paid Apps and Games on Google Play Store

Good news for Malaysian developers. Now you can get paid for your Android apps on Google Play!

Starting February 7, 2014, Malaysian developers can offer paid applications and games on Google Play in over 130 countries.

You need to set up a Google Wallet merchant account in your Developer Console to receive app payment.

If you already published apps as free, you can not change it a paid app now. But you can add in-app products or subscriptions.

You are free to publish new Android apps on Google Play as paid, sell in-app products or subscriptions.

Google Play – renamed from “Android Market” on 6 March 2012 – paid application was first introduced on 13 Feb 2009. Then, Google added in-app billing in March 2011. In-app subscriptions was added in May 2012.
