iMalaysian, a Malaysia iDevice repair specialist, published on facebook confirmed that iPhone 5 spare parts are indeed real.
If that’s truth then it further confirms that the iPhone 5 rumors that we heard so far: 4-inch display, smaller charging port, smaller casing. In the fb post, he said “micro usb charing port” but I doubt so. It is more likely to be a smaller version of Apple Dock Connector.
After I contacted iMalaysian owner for more information. He published a photo on the company blog showing a “iPhone 5″ glass spare part placed above a white iPhone 4S.
iPhone 5 glass leaked
The leaked iPhone 5 glass is about 1 inch longer than current iPhone 4S, and still 1-hand operation friendly.
“Regarding the black dot, that’s not camera position. That’s should be the proximity sensor will be. Camera will be above the ear speaker.”, it says.
