Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0 Final Released

thunderbird logoI have been using Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0 beta for some time. The ThunderBird 2 final has been released recently.

Among the Thunderbird 2 new features, I would like to highlight the Message Tags. It allows us to tag email messages accordingly, good for GTD.

Although it is Thunderbird 2 now (and beta testing previously) but many extensions still not updated to it. Maybe Thunderbird extension is not as popular as Firefox’s, and authors are lazy to update them?

    They already released 2.0 version of thunderbird? I’m still using the old version…

    Anyway, i found out that thunderbird is much more user friendly than outlook…

    ya, the thunderbird auto update didn’t seems to work in previous version. need to manually download full installation file of Thunderbird 2

    When the new Mozilla Firefox came out, I never even received any notification! When I checked for an update with the browser, it stated I had the old version, even though it was not! Glad Mozilla has come out with a new program!!
