My First Car, Honda City 2009

Filed in: Life Log — November 21st, 2008

Finally, I decided to buy the 1st car in my life! Yesterday I booked the new Honda City 2009, which will be available in Malaysia at the end of 2008.

The Honda City 2009 priced at around RM90,000. The car’s refundable booking fee is RM2,000. There are 5 colors available, if I remember correctly: gold, silver, black, blue, and “polished metal metalic” (like gray).

I picked blue because it is special and unique. Honda City 2009 is the first Honda car with the color. For your information, there is NO red color Honda City 2009 in Malaysia.

I have a driving license 10 years ago, but I never drive a car since then. I will need some practices of driving before receiving my Honda City 2009.

For the past years, my friends and family have been fetching me here and there. I owe them too much. It is my turn to be their driver to pay them back. Also, many friends are looking forward to sit in my car. ;)

thats a cool lookin car.Honda really have good designs..recently i went out to compare toyota vios and honda city..i gotta say vios have quite a better design but city’s design looks more..’solid’..looks like it it will last longer.

anyway enjoy your new car…but i still believe u should go for hybrid..price might be high..but long term..its a good investment.gas price is going down, but we dont know when its goin to sky rocketed again….

Serious? Can’t believe that this is your first car liew. Anyway nice choice but one thing you have to bear in mind, servicing of Honda cars is one of the top 3 most expensive in Malaysia.

with the current city, i can easily clock 620km a full tank.. 16.79km/litre..
the new 2009 city used an i-vtec engine, i believe its save more than the current..

Congratulation to you. Eagerly waiting you to share your new Honda car very soon..
I am a Honda user too. My car serve me full 13 yrs already. Still in good condition. I have Honda sifu taking care of it. However, I have converted it into NGV last year. Lack of pickup but cost saving….
