Why is everything made for windows, and not Linux and Macintosh, windows sucks alot thats why I use linux.

Yeah it would be nice if they made a client from both linux and mac since i use
both. However I would just be satisfied if I could use an independent client like
Pidgin (formally known as Gaim) to hook up to myspace. As far as I know there isn’t
anyway to do this, however if somebody out there does know please let me know.

I agree! They NEED to make a Myspace IM for Macintosh! I’m so tired of seeing “Windows” this and “Windows” that! Microsoft can go f*** it’s self, and take their crappy software with them! It’s all about Macintosh baby! If anyone knows WHEN or IF they’re developing a Macintosh version, let me know. I’m about to write Tom right now! LOL. Thanks everyone!

It seems that both myspace & yahoo don’t care about mac! I don’t even think Tom is a friend on Steve Jobs myspace page!

I agree as well, especially with the “microsoft can go f*** itself” statement…I too am sick of everything being for windows and windows only…not everyone uses f***ing windows…

I think yahoo has a Linux version.
If there’s a good (open-source) alternative for all the big IMs in one, we wouldn’t have to worry about all the incompatibilities as much. Then, if Micro$haft tries to do a windows-only IM, we’ve got something better. (take that!)

Im a mac user and would love myspace im to be available for mc users we seem to be rulled out as if we are a different race or something its ridiculous all mac users unite and we shall fight for our right to have myspace im for mac!!! what do you say comrades???

i have been using myspace im on a pc for a long time, and now i bought a mac only to find out that myspace im doesn’t work with mac. this disturbes me greatly. what gives?

Dunno why people are getting so hung up about this, its like…so what? If Myspace don’t want to release a Mac version thats fine by me, and im a Mac and Myspace user. To be honest, I don’t want their nasty looking buggy software on my Mac anyway.

There is in fact a plugin for pidgin under development: http://developer.pidgin.im/wiki/MySpaceIM

So, once that plugin is stable, I would assume it will be integrated into AdiumX, which as most people will know is a port of pidgin.
