NetSetMan – Easily Switch between Network Settings
Filed in: Downloads, Tips — February 11th, 2007My friend just got his first notebook. He can online at home and office wirelessly. His office assigns static IP address to each client, but he uses DHCP auto IP address assignment at home.
Here comes the problem. How does he easily switch between the different network settings? He found a freeware called “NetSetMan” as the solution.
NetSetMan is a network settings manager which allows you easily switch between 6 different network profiles (unlimited profiles for Pro version). The settings include:
- IP Address
- Subnet Mask
- Default Gateway
- Preferred & Alternate DNS Server
- Computer Name
- Workgroup
- DNS Domain
- WINS Server
- Default Printer
- Run Scripts
With only 2 clicks you can switch to a saved profile!
