New Straits Times Quoted My Words

Filed in: Malaysia, Site News, Weblog — June 17th, 2005

Read vincent’s “in the news..again!” and found that I am indirectly in the news too. News Strait Times(to be exact, Chow Kum Hor) quoted my words in his/her article – Blogging adds touch of spice to cyberspace. No credit given though…

It quotes:

“See, mom! Blogging is a JOB, not a hobby,” a blogger posted.

The sentence is original posted at Malaysia Company Hire Blogger. The “blogger” mentioned is me, Liew Cheon Fong. *ahem*

I am not sure about News Strait Times publishing policy, but I think it is important to state the source where you quote the words. Put a link to the site or put the person’s name.

Frankly, I am not quite happy about it. Anyway, there are few big blogger names(like Aizuddin Danian, Peter Tan, etc) mentioned in the article.

Well, hopefully next time my name will be published along with my words(in broken english). Else, don’t quote it!
