Based on customer feedback we [Microsoft] have changed the Office 2013 retail license agreement to allow customers to transfer the software from one computer to another. This means customers can transfer Office 2013 to a different computer if their device fails or they get a new one.
According to the new updated license agreement, you may transfer Office 2013 to another computer no more than one time in every 90 days (except due to hardware failure). You may also transfer Office 2013 (together with license) to other person’s computer IF you are the 1st licensed user.
“Transfer” means that you uninstall Office 2013 from the prior computer and install the software suite to a new computer.
