OnlyInMalaysiaMah Spam and Scam?

“Only In Malaysia Mah” is an ebook by Jason Tan (no link from me) that claims to make easy money with methods that:

  • are easy to work
  • run 99% on autopilot
  • doesn’t require any capital to start
  • will create multiple streams of income for you

I believe the statements make it looks like a scam to anyone who has a clear mind.

OnlyInMalaysiaMah Spam

I noticed the website some days ago on my AdSense ad (It is now in my AdSense filter list). I didn’t pay much attention to it. I thought it was “just another e-product”.

But, I found one of its member/client spamming the Malaysia Bloggers Forum. That’s what I cannot tolerate.

Here is the screenshot of the spam message in the forum.

The message includes a link to geocities website, and the website has a sexy banner that linked to OnlyInMalaysiaMah with its referral id.

The banner use “FAST MONEY” as a title and with the text “The Secret to Earn RM40,000 a month and get all the pretty ladies…”

Oh dear, I am more interested on the ladiessss than the RM40,000. :P

Sex does the sales? But I believe they do not have the permission to use the image of the lady. She is a Japanese actress, as far as I know.

The Malaysia Bloggers Forum is not the only victim. Google for “onlyinmalaysiamah” returns 320 results. 7 out of 10 results on first page are canned messages with referral link to the OnlyInMalaysiaMah website.

A young Malaysian millionaire Jason Tan reveals his secrets on how he makes millions on the Internet working only a few hours per week.

Please note that there is no evidence provided to prove that Jason Tan is a millionaire, searches of “jason tan” and “only in malaysia mah” on Entrepreneur Magazine returns no result.

My two cents

I do not buy the ebook, therefore I do not know the content will make you get rich fast easily or not. The web page statements and the massive number of referral spams did not convince me to pay for the product.

Never believe any method that claims to get rich fast and easy.

    I just start another new blog regarding how malaysian make money, and I did a quick google search on internet with keyword “make money online”, and this onlyinmalaysiamah is ranked as no. 1 with 38,400,000 search result.

    Yeah I have to agree that this fellow front page is looking like scam or spam and I will not buy it. But no doubt he is no1 in google ranking, really wonder how he make that…… any comment????

    Well basically, learnlah, it’s not hard to make money online as long as people coorperate with one another like how Jason’s way of attracting people.

    You need to create a site with many attractive, encouraging and beautiful catch phrases to lure people joining the program. Selling e-books for RM90 looks so simple but at the same time it looks generally pathetic because smart forummers with IT background would just surf the net and get it for free.

    It’s not the e-books that matters most, it’s the RM90 that you will bank in to his (Jason) account and expect others to do the same into your bank account that matters. Seriously, who cares about reading the e-book stuff and get motivated when it’s all generally theory rather than practical?

    The main concern is that, how many people will willing to continue the system till the end when you don’t even know who you are dealing with?

    It’s like buying a house without any black and white document. Hah!!!

    It’s a scam alright. I got cheated of RM90 sometime middle last year. (Hey, i was quite desperate then and was willing to give anything a try, and since i’ve never tried these kinda stuff b4). The stuff in his e-book is total junk. I have read better free e-books on how to make money.

    So stay away from Jason Tan and his scam website.

    Seeyah if you got the guts to reply.
