PayPal, the most popular online payment service, officially opened its new global operation center in Malaysia and expect to hire up to 500 Malaysians by end-2013.

PayPal’s new Global Operation Center is located at 1 First Avenue, Dataran Bandar Utama, which is a Multimedia Super corridor (MSC) status building developed to support the growth of high-tech companies in Malaysia.
The new facility offers service and support in English to PayPal’s customers across Asia and provides additional risk and financial services operations for PayPal’s business globally. Further Asian language support will be added in the near future.

PayPal was first announce Malaysia office in January 2011.
