Problogger LiewCF? What a Joke?!

Filed in: Malaysia, Weblog — August 6th, 2005

bUttsH4k3r gave his opinion about my idea to become a ProBlogger.

this person said he has given some consideration about turning into a problogger. I’m sorry if this offends anyone, but his very bold statement made me laugh.

Is the idea really that bold? Does he have any idea about how much I am earning now? Has he see my earning graph?

“I’m a pro blogger. i live off google adsense most of the time. If I’m lucky, I get a little bit more. Occasionally, people buy things I want off my Amazon wish list.”

Guess what, I told my friends about my way of earning money online and they are amazed! I think everyone like the idea about easy money.

LiewCF English is poor

Thank you, bUttsH4k3r. You are right. My English is poor, very poor. I knew my problem and working hard to improve (that’s why I blog in English). I read English, write in English, and try to talk in English…

By the way, I am proud of my Chinese. I always got Ace in exams.

This is not the first time. Tomorrow.sg also mentioned about my English level when featuring my “target of earning profit online“.

I wish someone is willing to stand out and point out the grammar/spelling mistakes in my every post! Maybe I should give RM1 for every mistake you guys found find in my post? Good idea huh? ;)

Thought:
I am glad to read some feedback about my ProBlogger idea and point out my mistakes. Thank you.

I must say that ProBlogging is not for everyone, just like not everyone can be a boss. Everyone has their life target and value.

I found my target and the path. I hope I will success succeed, and am working hard toward towards it.

Thanks to Leona, lucia and Jerry for grammer grammar(thanks, lucia) / spelling corrections.

spelling mistake is easier to be corrected. Google toolbar also has spelling correction. My problem is on the grammer. I have yet found a good grammer checking software, I doubt it exist, anyway.

Occasional some bits of grammar errors here and there, but still overall quite good. Hope you’ll continue on with your journey of improvements in all your undertakings at liewcf.com. (I used bits instead of bytes to let you know your level is quite good. Byte would be 8X worse! LOL)

    it’s grammar… with a A not E!

grammar has been the problem of lots of people, including me, an english educated person. my english teacher used to admire my writing saying i have good ideas, good style, good vocabulary but she add i have TERRIBLE GRAMMAR!

never mind, lcf. you will, like me, improve as we go along.

Imho ‘problogging’ is more ‘professional blogging’ instead of ‘blogging for a living’ – the word gives me the impression of someone, an expert of a certain field perhaps, posting unique, insightful, and more importantly, original information that people would want to read… and I can’t help but notice a lot of your posts are “轉貼” stuff, with more than a handful of “how to make money” topics recently. No offense. :P

But yeah, we all make mistakes anyway, so just keep it up!

P.S: someone willing = someone is willing. You guys found = you guys find. 2 ringgit plzkthx. :D

Jerry: yes, recently is less productive and therefore less original content. I also feeling sick with the “how to make money” posts. Those posts are to help others to make money, they do not actually bring me any profit.

    thank you for the corrections.

    working hard toward towards it.

Actually, that was right the first time. I think the first form is rarely used in American English, but it’s still correct and widely used here in the UK. Of course, the second form is also correct.
