The Great Responsibility

Filed in: Life Log — April 12th, 2005

My dad is going retired soon. Finally, he can spend more times with his family. I don’t know this is a good news or not.

I am happy that we have more times with dad if he retired. In past years, we only see dad for few weeks in a year.

However, if dad retired, who is going to support the family living? My brother and I will need to support the family.

My salary is definately not enough. Fortunately, brother got a good offer this month. He started his new job at yesterday(Monday). Suddenly, I feel a great responsibility fall on our shoulders.

It is our turn to support the family.

I am reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money–That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not! A good book indeed. I should start my financial planning now.

very good book indeed. Teaches you how to get away from the rat race. Hohoho I will go for another book by Rich Dad Poor Dad soon when have time. All the things inside the book is applicable and true as in real business world. I have asked about what I learned from the book to my dad, and he was like saying that is what he did. When I think over it, yes he did it. That is why he can support my study even when business is bad.
