TMNet Service Disruption (August 2007)

For Malaysians, if you are experiencing slow Internet connection speed again after recovery from the last TMNet Streamyx service interruption, it is because TMNet is replacing its network equipment.

Here is the latest news from TMNet Newsroom:

Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) would like to inform its customers that its Internet services are experiencing some degradation in performance due to the replacement of network equipment at its Network Operations Center for Northern and Southern regions and East Malaysia.

Restoration works on the affected infrastructure will be performed from 11.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 28 August 2007 until 12.00 a.m. on Wednesday, 29 August 2007.

On the another news of the day, TMNet informed that TMNet is performing a service upgrading exercise on its Streamyx system in Tawau, Sabah from 4.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 28 August 2007 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 29 August 2007.

As a result, Streamyx customers in Tawau may experience a disruption of service during the stipulated period.

    i am here in Kota Kinabalu. Yes, my streamyx always blinking “Link/DSL” in 3 week. :( now i check streamyx still can working but 50%

    Bloody sick. 1st day of maintenance i cant access certain sites ( i am sure i am not blocked / banned) . Following days slower speed upon accessing that usual.. Today it’s ridiculously slow even accessing local sites XD .

    Should i start mailing them again? ( i hate calling them) * mumbles mumbles*
