Two Less Known Tips to Increase Text Link Ads Sales

Text Link AdsText Link Ads did some updates in March 2007 and I received a newsletter from Patrick Gavin, TLA President. From the newsletter, I discovered two new TLA tips to increase sales. I made two text link sales after applying the tips, which sold out all the available spots!

Two less known Text Link Ads tips

  • Update category listing — now you can update your site’s categories in TLA marketplace. Choose only the categories relevant to your site content. I updated the categories to “Technology” and “Blogging Tips”.

  • Put TLA in upper fold — TLA advertisers count their ad clicks. Putting TLA in upper fold of your site will increase the text link clicks and make advertisers happy. I moved my TLA block a few higher in sidebar.

Have you signed up for Text Link Ads(aff) and start making money from the text links on your website? It is one of my main income source. I get a couple of hundred bucks from TLA every month.

    Do you know, by any chance, how to remove/delete my listing? Cos I just recently move my blogspot blog to its own domain, so I would like to remove the text-link-ads listing for blogspot and change it to the domain one.
