U Mobile introduced time limited “lowest unlimited internet roaming” at RM30 per day for existing and new postpaid customers. The roaming promotion is valid until 28 February 2014.

U Mobile postpaid plan customers can activated the unlimited Internet roaming rate when they travel to Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

You can stay connected with your friends and family and work, use as much data as possible. Your U Mobile roaming fee will be capped at RM30 per day.

However, if your Internet usage is less than 4MB, then you will be charged at RM7.50 per MB. Please take note!

No special setup step needed. U Mobile postpaid customers will received an automatic SMS with the U mobile preferred roaming partner in each country on arrival.

Simply manually select U mobile preferred roaming operator and enable data roaming in your phone settings to enjoy RM30/day unlimited Internet roaming.

U Mobile is partnered with China Unicom, PCCW in Hong Kong, Taiwan Mobile and Singapore’s StarHub as roaming partners.

Make sure you choose to roam with the mentioned partners, else you will be charged for standard “Pay As You Use” rates when roaming with other operators.

The U mobile unlimited Internet roaming at RM30 per day is valid until 28 February 2014.

    A typo in 1st paragraph – “…is valid until 28 February 2013″, shall be 2014 right?

    Just wondering if it would be cheaper just to get a local SIM rather than incur roaming charges when travelling. No doubt it will mess up all the contact in whatsapp etc & won’t be practical for a business traveler

      Depends on your destination. Some countries have very good traveler plan with Internet data.
