Does video blog hosting sound interesting to you? I think we should have this kind of hosting service. Here are my reasons.

• Fast Connection Speed
  Nowadays, Internet connection speed for home user is getting faster and faster(and cheaper). The speed is fast enough to download a video clip in minutes, if not view video in real time.
• Video Shooting Device
  Digital photo is common now, and digital video is the next. Every digital camera does come with video shooting capability. The modern mobile phone is supporting video shooting already.

  I believe you will shoot some home video by using them, don’t you?

• Share Self-Made Video with Family and Friends
  Previously, we share digital photos with family and friends, by email or website.

  Now if you have shoot videos of your birthday party, would you like to share happiness moment with your family and friends? Online?

  If a picture says thousand words, how about a video?

• Share Interesting Video Clips
  I often get some very interesting video clips(example: funny video, great tv ads, etc.) from friends. They send to me by email forwarding, which only very limited guys will get those cool video clips(only if they are receiver of the mail).

  That’s not good enough.

  I believe great things should be shared, share with as many people as possible. Why don’t put it online and share with the world? With video hosting service, you post once and share unlimited times.

The Problem… of Service Provider
So far, I have found very few video blog in Internet. Video hosting services are very expensive, which mainly target to corporates.

The critical problem of video hosting is the high cost of data transfer traffic(bandwidth), because video size is much more bigger than image.

Would you like to *watch* video blogs? Do you want to have your own video blog hosting for free(or with small fee)? What is your opinion?

Thought:
Hmm… I might start a video blog(separate site)… with interesting video clips I received from friends. If the response is good, probably make a video (blog) hosting service.
