“What is a browser?” you most probably know the answer because you are a LiewCF.com (tech blog) reader. However, there are many people out there do not know what is a “browser”.
Google folks did a street interview and many people think “browser” IS the “search engine”.
In order to educate people, they created a website called “what browser?” which includes a 1-minute video to explain what is a browser. The site detects what browser you use and a few tips for your browser.
I didn’t pop the question to my parents but I can imagine their answers…
If I ask my mom, she will answer: “what? what browser? don’t ask me. I don’t know.”
If I ask my dad, he probably knows that it is a software for him to access the Internet (he is browsing web everyday now to learn photography techniques).
But he doesn’t know about Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, etc.
By the way, what if your browser is a woman?
