Microsoft Windows 8 release date is October 26th, 2012. If you are interested to try Windows 8 Enterprise for your company, you can download free Windows 8 Enterprise edition for 90-day trial.
The final version of Windows 8 operating system is already available for MSDN and TechNet subscribers, member of Microsoft Partner Network and Microsoft Volume Licensing Assurance. Members of these programs do not need to download the trial version.
The Windows 8 evaluation provides both 32-bit and 64-bit version in ISO format, available languages are: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), English, English (UK), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), and Spanish.
Things you need to know
- you must activate the evaluation online within 10 days upon installation.
- The evaluation edition will expire and cannot be upgraded.
- You must uninstall the evaluation to upgrade using a non-evaluation version of Windows 8.
- During registration (required) you must login with a Microsoft account and provide your name, e-mail address and country.
- Consider to run the trial version in a virtual environment or install on a separate partition/drive.
