WordPress 1.2 Beta

The beta version of WordPress 1.2 has been released at 28 April 2004! WordPress 1.2 is a major upgrade from current version 1.0.2. There are many new features included, example:

  • Sub-categories
  • Custom fields
  • Automatic thumbnail creation

    • Download WordPress 1.2 Beta.

    Since this is still BETA version, please do not use it to replace your current WordPress yet, at least, do a backup before you do so. Instead, install it as testing purpose. Please report any bug(s) you found to the WordPress beta forum.

    Thought:
    Personally, I will not install 1.2 beta first. I shall wait for the final version, which is more stable and less bugs. Plus, upgrading means I need to apply all my personal hacks again… Must note down the my modified files/codes before upgrade. :neutral:
