WordPress Improved Image Browser

Filed in: WordPress, WordPress Plugins — January 9th, 2005

WordPress allows you to upload images for your blog. But the default image upload function is very limited. It does not let you manage your uploaded images. Therefore, I do NOT use it at all!

Thanks to WordPress plugin flexibility, there are few great image browsers plugin. IImage Browser is one of them that I have choosen.

IImage Browser is the improved version of Image Browser(notice the different in ‘I’) plugin. Besides, browsing and adding images, IImage Browser adds some new features, like browse sub-folders, easier to insert picture, delete picture from server, and create thumbnails for uploaded files.

I don’t recommend to hack WP and turn it into a CMS + bookstore. It will be too much job to do, especially for the bookstore part.

Try the real CMS – Mambo (http://www.mamboserver.com), instead.
