Yes! Received PayPal Money in Malaysia Bank Account

Filed in: E-commerce Solution, Make Money Online, Malaysia, PayPal — November 6th, 2009

For Malaysians. I have received my PayPal money in my Public Bank account!

received PayPal money in Malaysia bank

I withdrew the PayPal money at Nov 2, 2009 and received in my Public Bank account at Nov 5, 2009. 4 working days. I withdrew more than RM400, so there is no extra fee. :)

Surname? Name?

When you are adding bank account to PayPal account, PayPal fixed the “surname” field according to your account information. The “surname” might be your name.

It doesn’t matter. Don’t worry.

Just make sure your full name is there, no matter how they arrange your name. Example: “Surname Name” or “Name Surname”.

A reader also reported that she received PayPal money, even only submitted partial of her full name (missing middle name)!

Yeah! Congratulation, Liew. I will try it after you, is it the RM400 for the minimum withdrawal amount ? Withdrawal from paypal more than RM400 is not any charge of tax at all ?

    Hi, Liew
I wonder how did you added “previous article” + “more in archives” inside your main page, is there any wordpress plugin…??

This is a reply to off topic comment :)
WordPress has build in function for the “previous/next article”: previous_post_link() and next_post_link()

The rate was 3.33. Not much different than bank's rate. The fee to withdraw to card is expensive (USD5).

Yes, it is possible to withdraw from Paypal into you Malaysian Bank Account. I did it recently. I withdraw US$40 I received from Bidvertiser into my Maybank account. However it charges me US$3 transaction fee for amount less than US$500. It ok so long as it went into my maybank account.

    Hi Liew,

I have just tried to use the PayPal withdrawal services to my PBB account too. I'm still waiting though. Just a bit worried since I have added my savings account. Do they require a checking (current) account for this to happen?

  • http://www.liewcf.com LiewCF

Don't worry. You will get the money in a few days :)

hey liew, if my fullname is “lee chee ken” and i put my first name as “lee” and last name ask “ken” and middle name as “chee” end up in the “add bank account” section theres oni “ken” as my surname and “lee” as my firstname. isit ok? or should i add chee into the lastname like urs.

And if i change my name, they will ask for a copy of any ID with photo like IC/drivers license passport, or any other state or government issued photo ID…….
and also any copy of phone bill, insurance papers,
doctor's bill or invoice, tuition statement, tax document or any other
official document that helps us verify your residency at the address
    listed on your PayPal account.

all personal stuff…..can trust if i send?
heheh abit worried bout those information…

so should i just leave “ken” as surname and “lee” as firstname? without the “chee”?

thx for ur help dude….. appreciate it a lot…
    cheers!!!
